How to make white sauce for lasagna?

Ingredients for white sauce:

  • Butter: 2 tbsp
  • Flour: 2 tbsp
  • Milk:1 cup
  • cheese: 1/2 cup (grated)
  • Salt: ¼ tsp
  • White pepper: ¼ tsp

Preparation:

Melt butter over low heat in a sauce pan. Stir in flour and cook for 3-4 minutes. Now gradually add milk and whisk it constantly and add cheese. Cook it until thick but don't allow to golden brown. Use season it according to your taste.

how to make tomato sauce for lasagna?

Ingredients for tomato sauce:

  • tomatoes: 250 g
  • lemon juice: 2tsp
  • vinegar: 1 tsp
  • olive oil: 2tbsp
  • red pepper: 1/2tsp (crushed /flakes)
  • salt: 1/4 tsp
  • garlic: 3 cloves (chopped)

Preparation:

Blend tomatoes, olive oil, salt, red pepper and garlic. Pour it in a sauce pan and cook for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice and vinegar, stir for a few minutes. Remove from heat and preserve it in a jar.

How to make chicken lasagna?

Ingredients:

  • Chicken: boneless 2cup (cubes)
  • olive oil: 1 tsp
  • milk: 1/4 cup
  • spinach: 1 cup
  • lasagna noodles: 2 cup
  • garlic: 2 clove small (minced)
  • oregano: 1/2 tsp
  • black pepper: 1/2 tsp
  • butter: 1 tbsp
  • salt: 1/4 tsp
  • Mozzarella Cheese: 1 cup
  • white sauce : 1 cup

Method to prepare lasagna:

Preheat oven to 350 degree. Boil noodles and drain (cook as directed on the noodle packages). In a sauce pan heat olive oil and garlic, add chicken cubes, stir it and add 1/2 cup of white sauce, pepper and oregano. Cook it for5 minutes.

Take a baking tray, place a layer of noodle, put a cup of grated cheese and over it place spinach. Pour chicken with white sauce mixture. Spread noodles and pour remaining white sauce and cheese. Bake it for 30 minutes until the cheese melted. Before serving pour tomato sauce and garnish it with the crushed spinach or parsley as topping.
