Mothers Day Special Recipe!

Brownies with Ice Cream
Ingredients:
  • flour: 270 ml
  • eggs: 2
  • butter: 125 ml
  • castor sugar: 300 ml
  • dark chocolate: 200 ml (melted)
  • baking powder: 1tsp
  • cocoa powder: 2 tbsp
  • nuts: 300 gms (coarsely chopped)
  • vanilla essence: 5 ml
  • icing sugar: 1tbsp
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C & line a 20 cm square cake tin with baking paper. Cream together butter and sugar with an electric beater for 10 minutes. Beat in egg one at a time. Add vanilla essences and chocolate. Sift together flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and fold into the egg mixture. Add nuts into the mixture. Turn into the prepared cake tin and bake for 25 minutes. Leave to cool and cut into squares. Dust with the icing sugar. Now serve it with a ice cream scoop on the top of brownie. You can also put a raspberry with the ice cream scoop.
